What we collect. When you subscribe, we collect your email address and any optional details you choose to share (like your town). Subscriptions are processed by beehiiv, our newsletter platform, which also records standard delivery data such as opens and link clicks. Our website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.

What we do with it. We use your email to send you the newsletter you signed up for, and engagement data to understand what readers find useful. That’s it.

What we never do. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address or personal information with sponsors or anyone else. Sponsors see aggregate audience numbers only, never individual reader data.

Your choices. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe. You can also manage preferences from any issue’s footer, or email contact@theshorelinecrew.com and we’ll handle it for you, including full deletion of your data.

Third parties. beehiiv (newsletter delivery) and our website host process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Links in the newsletter go to external sites we don’t control.
